Since the debut of KatrinaBlogs, I have been asked just how I got my other blogs to be embedded into the navigation bar.
It is actually unbelievably easy!
Seriously.
At first, I tried the plugin Page Links To but it didn’t do exactly what I wanted.
Its an excellent plugin if you want your readers to move to a different website.
Of course, then they would either have to remember the original website or hit the back button to get back to it.
Nah…
But, with the plugin Embed iFrame, my readers never actually leave Katrina Blogs, yet they get the full experience of being on each of my individual blogs.
Simply install the plugin as usual.
Go to or create the page.
Switch over to the HTML editor.
Insert the code
[iframe url width height]
with url being Click publish.
Hold down the control key and click “visit site”.
You should, at this point, see a small iFrame with the site that you wanted to embed.
Yep, it was just that simple.
In fact, the most difficult task is changing the width and height to make the page palatable to my eyes.
To do so, simply come back to the HTML editor of your page.
Again find your code
[iframe url width height]
Where it says width, put in a random three digit number.
Do the same for height.
Keep looking at your page until the external site is ideally proportianate.
Like I said, this was the hardest part and that’s not really all that hard.

I found a few things that cross all blogging profiles. Especially the money making links!
Stay tuned!
Hi, I recently started a bloghosting platform (based on wordpress MU) and when I stumbled your blog I paid attention to your theme (looking good) so I was wondering can you tell me is it custom made theme or one of those free ones? thanks in advance! regards, blogiskewl
It is a free one called Atahualpa. I haven’t advanced to place of buying themes. Yet. Lol. Most theme names can be found at the bottom of every theme. Some, however, link to sites that are not the theme developer. I’m actually developing a site that lists all of the themes I use and where I found them. The address is http://www.katrinafinds.com. It should be more fully functional in the next few months.

I usually don’t post in Blogs but your blog forced me to, amazing work.. beautiful …
Thank you very much.
If you’re considering starting a blog to promote your business, you’ve probably realized that the choice mostly comes down to using Blogger or WordPress. Blogger is a great option for beginners since it now offers the option of registering your own domain name. However for flexibility, professionalism, and ease of use WordPress still comes out on top.
Five great plugin I have begun to use is WordPress File Monitor. This plugin scans your WordPress installation & reports if any files have been added, deleted, or changed. The plugin is customizable to run on a schedule that you set. You can also exclude directories from the plugin’s reporting so that you are not alerted every time you upload a picture to insert in to a post. I, however, recommend that you do not exclude directories as that directory may be the next location of the next exploit.
Thank you, I’ll look into that.
Excellent share. Thanks for informing us.
Thanks so much, David.
It seems to be working for me. Please let me know if you continue to have difficulties with it.
